This is the Ultimate Utility Vehicle from Toyota that we have been expecting since last June. Toyota believed that stopping at SEMA and showing off would be a well deserved pause from the 16 500 mile trips.
Toyota’s Ultimate Utility Vehicle represents a combination between a SUV and a minivan, built as part of a global movement supporting 330 000 Toyota team members worldwide on their mission of offering the best cars ever. Sienna is the so called command center for Northern America and implies driving the UUV in extreme conditions.
As you have probably already understood, the base for UUV was provided by a Sienna body, which ensures more interior space, which is necessary for the electronic equipment helping the trip.
For example, there is a TracVision satellite TV, USB ports, Wi-Fi, a 17 inch screen, 2500 watt JBL audio system, a 60 inch Sony LED TV, a night vision camera and many more cool things. And since a simple minivan would never be able to handle such an extreme trip, a Toyota Tacoma 4×4 frame was brought into the picture.
Now with the off road challenges having been solved, we can only appreciate the four arms suspension, the 33×22 inch Nitto Mud Grappler tires, wrapped around 22×12 inch Monster Energy 539B off road wheels. The trip will continue with Canada and Alaska, after the SEMA show will have finished.
