The new BMW M4 CS model and the powerful GTS model have made us more interested in the 4 Series range. However, M2 might also get improved. Based on the rumors, here is a rendering that presents us the remodeled BMW M2 CSL.

This BMW M2 CSL (or GTS) was designed by Automedia and it looks quite promising. It features orange wheels, gray exterior finish with orange accents, a prominent rear wing, and a distinguished front fascia.

The model is powered by the same turbocharged 3.0-liter unit delivering around 408 hp (300 kW). The power is sent through a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch.

According to BMW Marketing Chief Peter Quintus, the company intends to come up with some great M versions. The next model will probably be M2 CS.

Until we get this BMW M2 CSL in a production version we will have to deal with the standard M2. It produces 365 hp (272 kW) and it can reach 60 mph in 4.0 seconds. The top speed is 163 mph (262 kph) and the standard M2 model costs $55,595.

This means that a BMW M2 CSL will probably be around $70,000.
