Puma GT Lumi

Puma GT is a part of the Brazilian sports cars and it is going to be back on the road looking differently. The remodeled car will be called Puma GT Lumi and there will be a track-only version until the end of the year. In addition to that, there might also be a road-legal version in South America in 2018.
Puma GT was first launched in the 60s, in Brazil. The first units were based on DKW-sourced elements or Volkswagen’s air-cooled flat-four in the back. You could get these models in Brazil in the 1990s.

The new Puma GT Lumi model will feature Volkswagen power and a tuned Chevrolet-sourced 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit delivering 176 hp (132 kW). The engine will have a manual gearbox for driving the rear wheels.

Even if there is not so much power, Puma GT Lumi should be pretty fast thanks to its weight – 1,257 pounds (570 kg). The road-legal version will be a little bit heavier due to extra insulation, air conditioning, and a removable roof panel.

The model is 167 inches (4.24 meters) long and 50 inches (1.28 meters) high.
Puma GT Lumi will be hand-manufactured and that is why the model will be in a limited edition. It will probably be sold just in Brazil.
