The new Nissan Navara EnGuard Concept has been presented at the 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany and has managed to create quite an impression.
The concept features multiple high performance and design upgrades, being presented as a rescue platform that can handle even the most extreme conditions.
The height has been increased with 50 mm, while the overall design has received new bespoke overfenders, emergency blue strobe lights, revised fog- and taillights and fluorescent green color applied details, which has proved itself as the most visible and easy to identify shade by color-blind people.
The concept car also features two pull-out fiberglass trays, located in the load bed, ropes and axe in the upper tray, two way radio, oxygen tank, resurrection kit and many more life saving and first aid equipment.
Besides this, the car features a prototype portable battery pack, with seven EV battery modules, each of 2 kW. When in standby, the batteries are charging from the 2.3-liter bi-turbo engine, with a power of 190 hp.
